Asian Habanero Wings

Wings are so versatile. You can mix wings with any sauce or seasoning and you’ll be ready to go. The chicken wings I use for this are twice fried. Check out my recipe for Crispy Wings.

Prep and Cook Time (Sauce): 20 minutes
Servings: 4 servings

  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)

  • 2 habaneros (minced)

  • 2 tbsp white vinegar

  • 1 cup honey

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp mustard (optional)

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1 tsp sesame oil

  • Green onions (chopped)

  1. In a sauce pan, heat sesame oil over medium heat. When oil is heated, add garlic and stir until garlic becomes fragrant. Add habaneros and cook for about a minute.

  2. Stir in soy sauce, vinegar until it boils. Once sauce begins to boil, set heat to simmer and add honey, brown sugar and mustard. Stir occasionally until sauce thickens.

  3. Pour over chicken wings and mix to coat evenly. Serve immediately with green onions on top.
